ABOUT DACHSHUND DOGS
Breed History & Job Description: The Dachsies personality is the result of his original job: ‘Dachshund’ means ‘badger dog’ in German, and he was bred to enthusiastically dig his way into a badger’s den to hunt them. His long and low body made this job easier for him than for other dogs. Badger dogs go back to the 1400s, and the Dachsie, as a specific breed, has been around since the 1600s.

Let me just say absolutely fantastic place. I had been looking for a dog for months and was losing hope. I had been to a shelter put paper work in and everything never got called back everyone was so rude. Then I tried a puppy store and please do not even think about a puppy store. Almost got scammed 7000 for a Dachshund. This place is truly unique Tambi has an amazing personality and is so ready for her puppies to find an amazing loving home. She goes above and beyond to make sure you feel safe as well and don’t feel scammed. The dogs are priced amazingly and affordable. And it’s worth the wait if you have to wait for the litter because all the dogs get their shots and anything they need. Once purchasing the dog you also get a travel bag that comes with papers that tell you everything the puppy got and needs. You also get some food, puppy pads, and treats. The place really help me find hope in getting a dog because it was a gift for my fiance. So thank you to Tambi the puppies are amazing and i definitely recommend this place!Dogs are gorgeous...we bought a long haired...cream color.. dapple dauchund...paperwork all great...microchipped...and shots and wormed...excellent experience.The best breeder and dog mom anywhere! Though not from here the breed has great heritage and pedigree I would consider getting one. They actually had two males available for sale and if I had the money I would not have hesitated to purchase one. You can see by the pictures that the dogs are loved and very much a part of the family. I know that the price is an absolute deal because the company I got my Hudson from ( grand championship line) starts at $10,000 and up. Seventeen years ago I paid nearly $5,000 plus flights for him. I know that the character of the dachshund is not for everyone but they are wonderful loving dogs who will always be loyal. They leave you feeling like you lost a friend and a job. The hardest job I ever loved.
